Episodes

Used in: TV show

All episodes of a TV show are added in the Episodes field. To do so, you must first create the episode (Structure → Add content → Episode). Three values can be entered:

  1. Season
  2. Episode number
  3. Episode title

To add another episode, click the “Add Episode” button. After adding all episodes, you can drag and drop the entries by clicking and holding the cross-hair icon at on the left. We want the oldest episode first (top), and the last/newest episode last (bottom).

If you're saving a TV show, and the system complains that the episode field is empty, you must remove the empty form before saving. You can do so by clicking the three dots next to the empty episode form, and then click “Remove”.

Specials

Only specials that are considered as “inside” the show and, hence, add to the plot are added to the OFDb. So no Making ofs, actor interviews, and so on, must be added. Specials are all considered as season 0 (zero), and the episode number increases as part of the “specials season”: The very first episode is episode no 1, the second one episode 2, and so on—even if there are other, “normal” episodes in between.

Specials are not grouped together before season 1, but must be in the correct order regarding the whole TV show. If a special takes place between episode 3 and 4 of season 2, for example, place the episode exactly there.

Examples

  • Queen Sono: A TV show with episodes, but no specials
  • Doctor Who: A TV show with episodes, and several specials
